Open to work — available immediately

Hi, my name is

Shadman Bari.

I keep critical systems running — and locked down.

Two years of frontline incident response at one of the world's busiest airports — diagnosing hardware, software, and network failures under real time pressure. I now run my own hardened Linux security lab, and I'm moving that troubleshooting instinct into security operations.

01. About Me

I'm an IT support specialist based in New York City, moving into security operations. Most recently I spent two years at Delta Air Lines (JFK), where the job was real-time incident response: when a kiosk died, a gate reader dropped off the network, or a proprietary platform misbehaved in front of a boarding flight, I diagnosed and fixed it — fast, and under pressure.

That instinct is the whole reason security appeals to me. I run a self-hosted Linux lab — WireGuard VPN, iptables/ufw firewall rules, SSH brute-force blocking, automated backups, and log-parsing scripts I wrote myself — and I've built tooling in Python and Bash to automate the boring parts of triage.

I'm available immediately for security operations, SOC analyst, and IT support roles — NYC-based or remote.
